CHIMERA

Felix, a non-binary body navigates how bodies are read, legitimized, and remembered. Through dance and movement, Felix explores what the body rememebers and what must be forgotten in the process of being and becoming in-between.

Chimera is an intimate, experimental short film that delves into the radical act of un-belonging as experienced by non-normative, non-binary bodies. It examines both the possibilities and the losses that come with existing beyond societal norms, following Felix, a young non-binary person in Germany, as they navigate the complexities of identity, agency, and self-expression. With an immersive 5.1 theatrical soundscape, Chimera invites audiences into a space where dance and movement transform into extraordinary acts of self-assertion.
